Standing up made easy: Stiegemeyer`s new bed VERTICA is the winner of the iF Product Design Award 2011. Vertica gently lifts the patient from a prone to a sitting position and from there to an upright position, thus allowing for a smooth and stepless standing-up process – which can of course be interrupted at any time to allow the nurse to adjust the process to the patient`s needs and state of health.
