PROSCAN 43 CR-System
is a modern, high resolution scanner for imaging plates (IP) featuring an innovative design. It transfers x-ray information saved on the imaging plate into a digital signal. As a fullyautomatic CR-system with non-contact IP-transport,comfortable operation and a maximum lifespan of the imaging plates is ensured. The CONAXX image acquisition software(included in the standard delivery) operates the CR-scanner and routes the images automatically to a PACS (option: PROPAXX medical imaging software).
Rapid imaging for superior quality
Due to the fast scanning process, x-ray images are provided quickly for a reliable diagnosis. Misdosage and as a resultoverexposure or underexposure are almost impossible with this CR-technology due to the high exposure tolerance.
Daily work efficiency
Due to the ergonomic design the scanner is loaded at the infeed slot at a very convenient handling level. The imaging plate is transported internally in a contact-free, fully automatic way and finally returned to the cassette. During scanning of one IP in the system interior, the user can prepare further scan jobs in the software. An optimum workflow when working onseveral x-ray exposures and outstanding workefficiency is the result of the innovative product design..
Flexible and simple system integration
The network-compatible PROSCAN 43 CR-system could be used either as independent modality, integrated in a PACSenvironment via CONAXX or as a stand alone solution forprivate practitioners. For further general workflow optimization, there is a RFID-Chip inside the cassette which is linkingcomprehensive data with each exposure.
Through the operation of the CR-scanner and imagedistribution with CONAXX software, the PROSCAN 43 can be used very flexibly. The images are just routed to anexisting PACS. If there is no PACS available yet, a system fordiagnosis and archiving of images can be customized according to the needs of the practice or clinic with PROPAXX medical imaging software. Connections to patient/practiceadminis-trationsoftware can easily be realized, too.
State-of-the-art technology
The revolutionary PCS-technology (Photon-Collecting-System) ensures extraordinary low image noise by scanning the IP with almost 100% efficiency of active radiation. Due to very highresolution of more than 5 line pairs per millimetre, along with 16-bit greyscale resolution, an exact diagnosis is ensured.
The centrally located digital sensor (PMT) that collects theluminescence radiation (emitted by the IP after being activated with the laser) and the drive that gently transports (contactless) the IP without any wearing, account for excellent image quality and resolution.
