Pulse oximetry

Fast and effective

A vital function of the human body is providing sufficient oxygen to all its parts. If oxygen delivery is disrupted, respiratory distress and exhaustion may occur. The non-invasive method of pulse oximetry is used to monitor the oxygen concentration in hemoglobin and with it the oxygen supply to the body. Because it is non-invasive, pulse oximetry makes the drawing of blood and related risks completely unnecessary and requires less medical expertise of the user. Our pulse oximeter displays photometrically measured oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse. This proven 20-year-old method is one of the most important parameters in patient monitoring. It can be used for spot checks or continuous measurement in anesthesia, intensive care units and emergency medical services.
