Brainlab® hip navigation helps ensure accurate restoration of leg length and offset in total hip replacement *

Mal-positioning of the implant components is the major cause of early joint dislocation, limited range of motion, early implant wear and leg length discrepancies.

Hip navigation uses intra-operatively acquired 3D bone and soft tissue patient data for better implant placement. By continuously tracking surgical instruments and virtually guiding component placement, hip navigation overcomes accuracy and reproducibility challenges in standard and minimally invasive hip replacement surgery.
