CAPNOCOUNT mini

CAPNOCOUNT mini measures the CO2 content of the air exhaled by emergency patients. It is used to monitor intubation, respiration, resuscitation, even during patient transport. As early as 12 seconds after the device is turned on, the first measurement for intubation monitoring is displayed along with information about the position of the tube.

When the temperature or air pressure changes rapidly, the CAPNOCOUNT mini automatically calibrates for exact measurements within seconds. The device measures as accurately as stationary hospital equipment. The alarm for CO2 and respiration rates can be infinitely adjusted over the total measurement range, with three different settings for method and alarm delay. In addition to the audible alarm, an optical alarm will also be issued when apnea is detected.

With CAPNOCOUNT mini, patients can be monitored constantly for up to three hours. The print and charging station MULTIBASE 2, which is part of the capnometer equipment, documents the measured CO2 values, charges the device's rechargeable batteries and amplifies the acoustic alarm signals. MULTIBASE 2 also can be used with the pulse oximeter OXYCOUNT mini.
